[ezcol_1half]The race was held 27. june in Mynesgrusir by START race club, started 13:00 and finished 16:30. Weather was fine, windy but warm. Around 1000 audiences came to watch the drivers test their skills and cars. There was 16 competitors, 3 in street legal, 3 in modified and 10 in unlimited class. In street legal Ívar Guðmundsson finished the day with most points just like in first 3 races that have been held this year , second was Eðval Orri and in third place was Steingrímur Bjarnason . Modified class Bjarki Reynisson finished first then Jon Vilberg and in third Aron Ingi. In unlimited class Snorri Þór won 400 points ahead of second place which Helgi Garðarsson took, third place took Kristmundur Dagsson. Helgi got best in show for unlimited, Jon Vilberg for modified and Steingrímur for street legal. There was a lot of show in this race,[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]all the competitors tried all they could to finish the tracks which where some almost impossible like in fifth track Kristmundur was the only one to finish. Ingólfur Guðvarðarsson could only drive track number 4 because of an engine problem, but after that one track the transmission broke down and he quit the race. Eðvald Orri broke his front axle in the time track and had broken 2 axle shafts before that. Kristmundur rolled over in third track and broke rear axle the team managed to get it repaired for next track. Bjarki Reynisson had nasty rollover in track four but managed to show up for track five. Valdimar Jón blew tire while driving to track number 3 and missed out that track.
